OUR WORK / BESPOKE DEVELOPMENT
FIA Formula E.
No more queues. More race day.
A digital virtual queue for the racing simulators of the FIA Formula E Gaming Arena: fans keep their place without standing in line.
THE CHALLENGE
Ninety minutes
in a queue.
The racing simulators are one of the most popular attractions in the FIA Formula E fan village. Fans used to wait an hour to an hour and a half in line — and while they waited, they didn’t eat, didn’t buy a cap or a T-shirt and didn’t visit anything else.
Mueva designed and built a virtual queue: fans keep their place digitally and enjoy the rest of the event while they wait.
01 / FOR FANS
Scan, register,
come back later.
Fans scan a QR code at the Gaming Arena, sign in with Google, Facebook, Apple or Microsoft, and book a time slot for up to four people. The system tells them when to come back and texts them 15 minutes before their turn.

02 / FOR STAFF
One iPad.
The whole queue.
The host runs the queue from an iPad: she scans the fan’s QR code, sees who is waiting, who has been called and who is playing, and moves people from the waiting room to the simulators in real time.
Live queue.
One tap to call the next fan.
No paper, no shouting.

03 / THE RESULT
Happier fans.
A busier fan village.
Fans no longer spend the day standing in line. With their place saved, they eat, shop and explore the fan village — and come back just in time to drive. A hit with fans and organisers alike.
- No physical queue.
- Place saved by QR.
- Alert 15 minutes before.
- Time back for food, merch and fun.
